BODYWORK TECHNIQUES
Energy Medicine (also known as Vibrational Medicine) is based
on the concept that there is an energetic body creating the architecture
from which the physical body arises. If we understand that energy
consists of different frequencies of vibration, and that the body consists
of seven major chakras which allow energy to be used to affect physical,
emotional and spiritual changes, then we can begin to understand how energetic
medicine can be used to tune” the human body back to health. Energy medicine
and traditional Western medicine are wonderfully complementary therapies.
Energy healing most often works at levels beyond the physical areas that
are usually inaccessible to the more traditional Western forms of medicine.
The following energy techniques are used to quickly and effectively release
pain:
- Celtic Energy Therapy is an ancient form of energy work in which the
practitioner tunes his body’s vibration to that of the client’s, enabling
him to sense energy blocks and correct them. It can also be used to
locate physical imbalances and injuries in the body, which can then
be corrected with the appropriate massage techniques.
- Holographic Memory Release is a powerful yet subtle technique. Through
the use of light touch to specific points on the body, self-limiting
beliefs and tension patterns are released from the connective tissue.
This restores the body and mind to its original healthy state.
- Chinese Energetics is a technique based on the premise that disease
is nothing more than the result of the subconscious blocking one’s own
natural balance and connection to the universe. The exact cause of the
subconscious weakening belief is located and switched off energetically.
This results in an instant correction of the problem.
Bodywork, or massage therapy, has been used for centuries
to relieve pain and suffering. Massage is a proven method of alleviating
many health conditions including:
- Low back pain
- Sports injuries
- Chronic pain
- Stress overload
- Depression and anxiety
- Sleep disorders
- Fatigue
The following three techniques are used in conjunction with the energy
work to bring you fast relief:
- Swedish Massage is a vigorous system of treatment designed to energize
the body by stimulating circulation. Benefits may include generalized
relaxation, the breaking up/reduction of scar tissue adhesions, and
reduced swelling from injury.
- Deep Tissue Massage techniques affect the sub-layer of musculature
and fascia. This technique can help chronic muscular pain and injury
rehabilitation, and can also aid in the reduction of inflammation-related
pain caused by arthritis and tendonitis.
- Trigger Point Myotherapy is a non-invasive therapeutic modality for
the relief and control of muscle and connective tissue pain. Trigger
Points are highly irritable spots in a muscle that contribute critically
to pain. When correct pressure is applied to these painful areas the
muscle can be detrigged”, bringing relief in seconds.
