This is not an opinion. It is a fact.
Our president-elect was convicted of 34 felony counts of falsified business records. A jury of his peers agreed that he falsified business records to conceal a $130,000 hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels in order to influence the outcome of the 2016 election. He is a convicted felon, and is no longer allowed to vote in many jurisdictions.
This is not my opinion. It is a fact.
Our president-elect was found liable for the sexual abuse columnist E. Jean Carroll by a jury of his peers, and they awarded her $5M in judgement against him.
This is not my opinion. It is a fact.
Our president-elect can no longer do business in New York after having been found guilty of falsifying business records, issuing false financial statements and insurance fraud in a civil case. The company was ordered to pay $354M fine.
This is not my opinion. It is a fact.
Our president-elect has been impeached twice.
His first impeachment came after making a request to Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky for information that would be injurious to the Biden Presidential campaign. Ukraine was in desperate need of funding from the US, and he tried to use this leverage to extort the information from Zelensky to help in the general election.
His second impeachment came after he fomented a coup at the Capital during the peaceful transition of power after the 2020 election. After speaking to his followers, he watched on TV as they disrupted the counting of electors and hunted his Vice President (as well as the Speaker of the House).
He was not convicted by the Senate on either charge even though many on the gop side of the aisle knew he was guilty of both charges.
This is not my opinion. These are facts. Our president-elect is a criminal and will continue to engage in criminal behavior, especially now that he has been given broad immunity for doing so by the Supreme Court. The rule of law no longer matters, and will not be enforced against a president-elect who ran for office to stay out of jail.
May God, or whatever deity you believe to be the most divine, help us withstand what is about to happen to our country.
